Warranty Policy
At Yamaha Marine Hub, we are committed to providing our customers with high-quality marine products. This Warranty Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which warranty claims are handled for products purchased from our store.
1. Warranty Coverage
Duration: We offer a limited warranty ranging from 1 to 5 years, depending on the specific product purchased. The exact warranty period for each product is specified on its respective product page.
Scope: This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and maintenance.
Exclusions: This warranty does not cover:
Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, accidents, or unauthorized modifications.
Normal wear and tear or cosmetic damage.
Damage caused by improper installation or maintenance.
Products used for commercial, rental, or racing purposes.
Incidental or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of use, loss of time, or inconvenience.
2. Warranty Claim Process
To initiate a warranty claim:
Contact Us: Reach out to our Customer Service team at sales@yamahamarinehub.com or call +1(571) 749-5486 with your order details and a description of the issue.
Provide Documentation: Include proof of purchase, photographs of the defect, and any other relevant information to assist in evaluating the claim.
Return Authorization: If the claim is deemed valid, we will provide instructions for returning the product. For more information about returns, please refer to our Return & Exchange Policy.
Inspection and Resolution: Upon receipt, we will inspect the product. If a defect covered by the warranty is found, we will, at our discretion, repair or replace the product.
3. Limitations and Disclaimers
This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.
Our liability is limited to the repair or replacement of the defective product.
We disclaim any liability for incidental or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the product.
Our Promise: All motors sold by Yamaha Marine Hub are inspected, documented, and backed by a 1–5 year limited warranty. If you are not satisfied, unused motors may be returned within 90 days for a full refund (see full policy).
Refunds are processed within 7–14 business days after inspection. This protection covers manufacturing faults and defects; it does not cover damage from improper installation, misuse, or unauthorized modifications.
Full Warranty Summary
Coverage: The 1–5 year limited warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship that occur during normal use. Proof of purchase is required.
Exclusions: Damage from improper installation, accidents, neglect, improper maintenance, corrosion from improper storage, or unauthorized repairs/alterations is not covered. Consumable parts and wear items (impellers, gaskets, etc.) may have separate coverage.
How to claim: Email sales@yamahamarinehub.com with your order number, photos of the issue, and any supporting documentation. We will provide an RMA number and instructions for evaluation or repair. Refunds are completed within 7–14 business days.
